When Armstrong announced he was going to ride the 2005 Tour de France Lisa and I new it was something that couldn't be missed. We booked a last second spot on a tour run by Duvine adventures. Spending a few days in Paris we took the TGV to Grenoble where we met up with the group. The rest is history. We witnessed Lance make a spectacular run up the slopes of Courchevel. Only polka dot clad Rasmussen and two game Spainards were able to respond. Lance put on yellow which he wore into the final stage in Paris for his 7th consecutive win.
